The purpose of this role is to effectively execute stock replenishment procedures to optimise inventory in the supply chain to fulfil our various sales order fulfilment channels to agreed KPIs and expected results

Main Responsibilities:

Maintain stock availability of your category (circa 2,000 products) to the agreed KPI measure
Manage and motivate your support team of 2 colleagues effectively with guidance of being results focused
Analysing reports to make decisions on replenishment parameters in order to maintain KPI service levels in the 2 distribution centres and 800 stores within budgets
Creating, reviewing and approving purchase orders to suppliers
Reviewing sales forecast accuracy and creating demand planning replenishment orders to a time-line that can be supported to deliver products to the agreed stock availability KPIs

The Person

Build strong relationships with your supplier base to ensure on-time-in-full performance to agreed KPIs
Work closely with commercial category colleagues and escalate issues of supplier non-compliance or obstacles that compromise stock availability in the supply chain or constrain customer order fulfilment
Propose opportunities of enhancing stock availability, range performance and continuous improvement
An aptitude to control and maintain purchasing and sales ordering systems (policies and parameters) of stock replenishment product flows from suppliers to our distribution centres and to our stores
A good understanding of a business that engages with high levels of promotions and seasonality of product supply and ranging. Be able to demonstrate experience with a high level of competence in analysing inventory data and presenting summary analysis
Ideally you will be an Intermediate/Advanced user in MS office and essentially in Excel
